COMMON QUESTIONS

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancellation happens there. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions. The in-app Manage Plan option deep-links to the right screen. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.

How do I export my data?

In the app: Settings → Account → Export My Data. You get a readable file containing your program, check-ins, and metrics.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account (Android: You → Start over). That clears your program, check-ins, metrics, and local history from the device. Already uninstalled, or want your contact entry and Circle posts gone too? See https://www.beyondnorthlabs.com/builtbydiscipline-delete-account — you do not need to reinstall.

I found a bug or my streak looks wrong.

Email us with your device model, OS version, and the app version from Settings, plus what you expected to happen. Bug reports from testers get read the same day.

Is my journal or vent text sent anywhere?

Your journal, notes, check-ins, and metrics stay on your device. Text you send to the AI Coach or a Vent Session is transmitted to an AI provider to generate the reply. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy: https://www.beyondnorthlabs.com/builtbydiscipline-privacy
